Hi everyone, see this interesting article from the Economist.
It’s about American Airlines finally deciding to let third-party apps access their customers’ data when the customers are using those apps to manage their frequent-flier balances across multiple airlines.
Sounds like another example of how consumers are happy to give up their personal information — in this case, how and where they fly — to companies as long as it gets them something, like free flights.
